Ondo Varsity imposes penalty against indecent dressing on campus

The management of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko (AAUA) has imposed a penalty against indecent dressing by the students of the school, Starnews Nigeria has learnt.

In a circular to students signed by the school registrar Olugbenga Arajulu, and sighted by Starnews Nigeria with reference number AD/REG/CIR/58/VOL.VI/309 dated September 7, 2021, the management of the institution lamented the high rate of indecent dressing among the students which was almost becoming a standard among them on campus.

“After thorough deliberation on the issue, the senate, in its wisdom, decided that the penalty for indecent dressing shall henceforth be rustication for one month semester effective from August 25, 2021, part of the circular reads”.

“Any student of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko who violates the above senate decision on indecent dressing is deemed to have committed misconduct and he or she shall be sanctioned accordingly”, the letter added.
