Barely three months after which Senator Nicholas Tofowomo of the PDP from Ondo South appointed 62 non statutory Aides, and 5 statutory Aides, another Lawmaker from the same Ondo South, representing Okitipupa/Irele Federal constituency at the House of Representatives, Hon. Ikengboju Gboluga, has made another surprise appointments of 60 Aides, which is currently causing panic among members of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Ondo South according to findings.

Starnews reports that Gboluga made the shocking appointments when he spoke with journalists yesterday in Abuja.

In another development, the Lawmaker said he has also shortlisted about 600 names for a – 4 day empowerment program which would commence by November 4, 2019.

Findings by our correspondent however revealed that some members of the APC are not too comfortable with the unusual appointments done recently by PDP Lawmakers.

Some chieftains and loyalists of the APC were sighted by Starnews correspondent both in Okitipupa town and Ode-Irele community at various relaxation centers discussing the development.

In Okitipupa, some of them who did not notice the presence of journalists among them were heard saying: ”these people will kill our party (APC) with all these appointments”. Another person was heard saying: ”Tofowomo and Gboluga will made campaign very difficult for us in the next election with all these appointments, oga oo”.

Starnews correspondent also visited Ode-Irele to monitor the reactions of people at various relaxation centers. The feed back was not too good for the APC as people were heard praising the PDP and accusing the leadership of the APC led by governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu of self-centeredness.
