3 die as truck rams into tricycle in Ogun

Three people died while three others were injured when a hit – and – run truck rammed into a tricycle in Ogijo – Mosimi area of Ogun State.

The accident, which occurred at about 22:25pm on Tuesday, involved unmarked truck and a tricycle with registration number LSD175QM.

The Nation learnt that the injured victims were taken to Dasochris Hospital Gbaga for treatment while the family of the deceased evacuated the remains of the dead.

The Sector Commander Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Ogun Sector Command, Anthony Uga, confirmed the accident through the Public Education Officer and Chief Route Commander Florence Okpe.

Uga said he was particularly pained over the recklessness of some motorists not considering others road users and advised them on the need to use common sense speed limit to prevent accident.
