2027: Okpebholo Pledges 100% Edo Votes For Tinubu

Governor Monday Okpebholo of Edo State has expressed support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2027 presidential election, promising full backing from Edo voters.

Speaking during a food distribution program organized by the Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI) at the Government House in Benin City, Okpebholo applauded the President and First Lady Oluremi Tinubu for their efforts to assist vulnerable groups.

The RHI outreach, which started in March 2024, has provided food to families in seven states, including Edo, Kano, Benue, and Cross River, with more states lined up.

Beneficiaries in Edo received items like noodles, semovita, and pasta.

The First Lady, represented by Hajia Nana Shettima, wife of the Vice President, urged recipients to use the food wisely, Naija News reports.

She highlighted RHI’s ongoing efforts in education, health, and economic empowerment to improve lives across Nigeria.

Coordinator of the First Lady’s office in Edo, Mrs. Edesili Anani Okpebholo, praised the initiative and acknowledged the governor’s contributions to its success.

Dignitaries at the event included government officials, security chiefs, and community leaders.
