2027: INEC Says Voter Registration, PVC Replacement Not Resuming Yet

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has dismissed reports claiming it will restart the Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) and replace lost Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) on May 27, 2025.

The commission’s Chief Press Secretary, Rotimi Oyekanmi, addressed the issue, stating that no date has been set for the resumption of these activities.

He urged the public to ignore the circulating information, calling it false.

INEC assured Nigerians that any updates on voter registration or PVC replacement would be officially communicated through proper channels.
