• Deregisters 74 Political Parties

INEC-boxThe Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has fixed September 19, 2020 for Edo Governorship Election and October 10, 2020 for Ondo Governorship election.

INEC announced this on Thursday through a tweet by Rotimi Oyekanmi, Media Adviser and Chief Press Secretary to the commission’s chairman, Yakubu Mahmood.

According to Oyekanmi, the commission has also registered 74 political parties.
