Young boy commits suicide, hangs self in Ibadan

A lifeless body of a yet-to-be-identified boy has been found hanging on a tree within a school premises in Ibadan.

The boy, assumed to be in his mid-twenties, allegedly hung himself on the premises of Alapata Onireke High School, Elewuro, Akobo, Ibadan.

According to a witness, who pleaded anonymity in an interview with Vanguard, someone in the area had already been declared missing about three days ago before the incident.

The witness added that he was at a relaxation spot in the area when someone ran towards him to inform him about the lifeless body hanging on a tree in the school.

As of the time of filing this report, the body of the young boy was still hanging on the tree.
