Nigerian Nollywood actor Asa Koko has passed away after a prolonged struggle with an undisclosed illness.
According to Afripost, the news of his death was shared by his colleague, Kunle Afod, in an emotional Instagram post on Thursday.
Afod paid tribute to the late actor, posting a heartfelt video from a visit he made to Asa Koko’s home before his passing.
In the tribute, Afod wrote simply, “May his soul rest in peace. Asa Koko. It’s a WRAP.”
In the video, Asa Koko was seen with a swollen leg, bravely recounting his hospital journey and the various challenges he faced during his illness. He shared, “I was hospitalized at Island. I was battling with injuries on my legs. The state governor even visited me during the treatment.”
