Veteran Hollywood actor, Harris Yulin, dies at 87

Renowned American actor, Harris Yulin, has died at the age of 87, following a cardiac arrest.

The celebrated thespian, whose career in the entertainment industry spanned several decades with iconic roles across film and television, passed away on June 10, 2025. His death was confirmed on Thursday by his longtime manager, Sue Leibman.

Yulin was best known for his unforgettable performances in classic films such as Scarface and Ghostbusters II, as well as various acclaimed television series, which earned him a place among Hollywood’s most respected performers.

In her tribute, Leibman praised the late actor’s unwavering commitment to his craft, describing his work as a gift to fellow actors, audiences, and the art of acting. “His performances were a gift to his fellow actors, audiences and the art of acting itself,” she said.

A memorial service is expected to be announced in the coming days, where fans, colleagues, and loved ones will have the opportunity to honour the legacy of the veteran performer.
