Controversial social media commentator, VeryDarkMan (VDM), has strongly criticised popular content creator Peller following reports of his attempted suicide, describing the act as selfish and irresponsible.
In a statement shared on his official Instagram page, VDM faulted Peller for allegedly failing to consider the emotional impact his actions could have on his mother and fans. According to him, the news of Peller’s death, had the attempt been successful, could have been devastating to his family, particularly his mother, whom he said might not have survived the shock.
VDM also accused Peller of disregarding the feelings of his fans, stating that many young people look up to him and could be negatively influenced by such actions.
Beyond the suicide attempt, VDM described Peller as “toxic,” alleging that his behaviour has put the life and public image of his partner, Jarvis, at risk. He claimed that if Peller had succeeded in taking his life, public backlash would have unfairly been directed at Jarvis, despite her not being responsible.
The activist further accused Peller of being controlling in his relationship while lacking self-control himself. He criticised what he described as Peller’s frequent public disrespect towards Jarvis, saying such behaviour was unhealthy and damaging.
VDM concluded by appealing to Peller’s family to intervene urgently, urging them to call him to order and provide the necessary support to prevent any future suicide attempts.
The incident has since sparked widespread reactions on social media, with many users calling for greater attention to mental health, responsible public conduct, and support systems for young celebrities.
