UK resumes visa application services in Enugu, Port Harcourt

The United Kingdom has reinstated its visa application services in Enugu, several months after temporarily closing its centres in the city.

The UK had shut down its visa application centres (VACs) in Enugu and Port Harcourt in November 2024 following the opening of a larger facility in Lagos, managed by VFS Global.

At that time, VFS Global announced that Nigerians seeking UK visas would need to schedule appointments at the VACs in Lagos or Abuja.

The centres in Enugu and Port Harcourt, which were previously operated by TLScontact, are now once again accepting visa applications.

In a statement released on Wednesday, the British High Commission confirmed the resumption of services in Enugu, noting that residents can now complete their visa applications at the Premium Application Centre located at Omedel Luxury Hotel.

Similarly, in Port Harcourt, visa applications are being processed at Hotel Presidential, as confirmed by VFS Global.
