Truck Accident Claims Lives of Ondo Police Officers and Suspect

Tragedy struck in Ore, Ondo State, on Friday as three police officers and a female suspect lost their lives in a fatal accident.

The officers, part of the state police command’s monitoring unit, were traveling from Akure to Ore to make an arrest when the incident occurred.

A truck reportedly lost control while descending the Ore Bridge and collided with the police vehicle.

The impact was devastating, leaving three officers and the suspect dead at the scene. Another officer sustained severe injuries and was rushed to a hospital for treatment.

Eyewitnesses described the scene as chaotic, with the loud crash drawing attention from bystanders.

Authorities, including the state police and Federal Road Safety Corps, are investigating the incident and are expected to release an official report soon.
