Nigerian troops have arrested one Alhaji Nafi’u Yahaya, who is alleged to have led a gang of kidnappers to abduct and subsequently killed some family members of the Emir of Mutum Biyu, Taraba State, His Royal Highness, Alhaji Justice Sani Sulaiman Duna last year.

Recall that in February 2023, kidnappers had abducted the wives and children of the traditional ruler in his private residence in Jalingo, the state capital. Days later, the assailants killed them.
