The newly formed sociopolitical group in Ekiti State, Bring Back Our Mandate,(BBOM) has reacted to the news of APC latest response to the petition filed by Professor Kolapo Olusola Eleka of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) challenging the victory of Dr Kayode Fayemi in the just concluded July 14, 2018, governorship election at the Ekiti State Election Petition Tribunal.

The group , through a statement made available to Starnews by its convener, Mr Gbenga Ogedengbe, described the hiring of 35 lawyers by Fayemi and his party, APC, to defend election victory as a sign of panick.

“A situation where APC and its candidate  hired as much as 35 lawyers and 1,009 witnesses, wrote 2,558 page defence with 3,500 documents as exhibits before the court to defend election victory, is a sign of panick, the group said”.

“APC and Dr Fayemi are unprecedentedly panicky. Their defence pattern has let out the secret of their accelerated pulsations.”

Coordinator Ogedengbe however  charged the good people of Ekiti state whose mandate were allegedly stolen to be steadfast and prayerful.

“No amount of defence documents, witnesses and lawyers would change injustice to justice”, the group stated .
