Super Eagles striker, Victor Boniface, is closing in on a sensational transfer to Italian giants AC Milan from Bayer Leverkusen, according to reports from Plettigoal.
Negotiations are said to be at an advanced stage, with all parties confident of reaching an agreement soon. Boniface, 24, has already given his approval to the move after holding talks with his representatives.
The Nigerian forward has emerged as a top transfer priority for Milan boss Massimiliano Allegri, who is in urgent need of a proven goalscorer following the departures of Alvaro Morata and Tammy Abraham in recent months.
While Milan and Leverkusen are yet to finalize financial terms, optimism remains high that a deal will be concluded swiftly.
Boniface was previously linked with a switch to Saudi Pro League side Al Nassr earlier this year, but the move collapsed at the final stages. His impending transfer to Milan is now being described as one of the biggest shocks of the current transfer window.
