Tragedy as Train Crushes Pedestrian to Death in Lagos

A tragedy unfolded in Lagos on Monday when a high-speed train struck and killed an unidentified pedestrian along the railway tracks at Cappa, in the Oshodi area of Lagos State.

Eyewitnesses, including Mr. Akin Rowland, reported that the fatal incident occurred around 3 p.m.

Responding swiftly, the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) arrived at the scene and recovered the dismembered body of the victim.

A statement from LASEMA disclosed, “Our Response Team from the Cappa Base recovered the corpse of an adult male who was struck by a train along the railway tracks at Cappa on Monday. The remains have been deposited at the General Hospital mortuary.”
