Sen Nicholas Tofowomo is one of the most transformative Senators Ondo South has ever produced. He was able to make some unprecedented impacts in Ondo South Senatorial District within three years in office amid his health challenges caused by the unfortunate accident he had on September 6, 2019.
Speaking on Saturday at Ileoluji on his three years in office as a Senator, he said: “My three years review in the senate, especially the infrastructural facilities I facilitated, the training and empowerment programmes I did for my people which cut across all classes including farmers, market women and youths across communities of Ondo South, are enough for my people to know that I am not a docile representative.”
“For the past three years, I have been able to facilitate jobs for the people, moved several motions, and sponsored many bills to give Ondo South a brighter future. Through my continuous lobby, advocacy, and motions, the NDDC has revisited the Erinje transmission substation as a panacea to the age-long darkness in the district. The project is now left with the last stage which is the installation of cables from Omotosho power plant to the Substation.”
“With my contributions to Ondo South in three years, the people can foretell what they will get at the end of my tenure as a Senator. I sincerely thank the good people of Ondo South for allowing me to serve them”, he added.
