- Preaches peace, one Nigeria on Sallah
In his philanthropic gesture, Senator Nicholas Tofowomo, the Lawmaker representing Ondo South at the National Assembly, has effected cash transfer of the sum of Ten Thousand Naira Only (N10,000) each to 200 Muslim faithful in Ondo South.
Starnews Nigeria reports that the Senator wired the money to the selected Muslim leaders in Ondo South on Monday evening and Tuesday morning.
The Senator in his Sallah message rejoices with the Muslim Faithful, praying that the Almighty Allah will grant them grace to celebrate many more on earth.
In a statement signed by his Media Aide, Pastor Olumide Akinrinlola, Tofowomo charged the Muslims to use this period of celebration to show love to others including people of other religions.
According to him, “the Muslim should embrace peace and show love to fellow Nigerians. The country must remain indivisible and indissoluble in one love. Barka de Salah!”,
