Tinubu Returns to Abuja After Spending Eid in Lagos

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu arrived in Abuja today, June 10, 2025, after staying in Lagos for the Eid holidays.

His trip to Lagos began on Tuesday, May 27, when he visited the city for the 50th anniversary celebration of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS).

During his time in Lagos, President Tinubu participated in the anniversary event and remained in the city to observe the Eid festivities.

On the day of his departure, he was seen at the airport with the Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, who accompanied him.

The President’s return to Abuja marks the end of his extended holiday stay, which followed official duties connected to regional cooperation in West Africa.

His visit was shared on social media, with footage showing him walking alongside the governor as they headed toward the plane.
