Tinubu Receives Gabonese President in Abuja

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on Friday, played host to the President of Gabon, Brice Oligui Nguema, at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

The visit was confirmed in a brief statement by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, who noted that the meeting took place on June 27, 2025.

“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu receives Gabonese President, Brice Oligui Nguema, at the Presidential Villa Abuja on Friday 27/06/2025,” the statement read.

As at the time of this report, specific details regarding the purpose or outcome of the meeting between both leaders were not disclosed.

Earlier in the week, President Tinubu also welcomed Queen Mary Elizabeth of Denmark to the State House in Abuja. During that engagement, he emphasized the need for stronger bilateral relations between Nigeria and Denmark, particularly in the areas of livestock development, veterinary health, and education.

That visit was Queen Mary’s first to Nigeria and was co-hosted by the First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu.
