Tinubu Heads to UAE for Sustainability Summit

President Bola Tinubu will attend the 2025 Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week in the United Arab Emirates from January 12 to 18.

He will depart Abuja on January 11 at the invitation of UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

The summit aims to bring global leaders together to discuss sustainable development and economic progress.

The theme, “The Nexus of Next: Supercharging Sustainable Progress,” will focus on advancing the transition to a sustainable economy.

During the summit, Tinubu is expected to discuss his administration’s efforts in energy, transportation, health, and economic development, Punch reports

He will also meet with UAE leaders to strengthen ties between the two nations.

Tinubu’s delegation includes Foreign Minister Yusuf Tuggar and other senior officials.

The president is scheduled to return to Nigeria on January 16.
