By Charles Maduka

President Bola Tinubu, on Thursday, paid a working visit to Anambra State where he commissioned key infrastructure projects executed by Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s administration, praising the governor as a “solution provider” committed to 21st-century development.

The President, who landed at the Chinua Achebe International Airport in Umueri at about 12:14 p.m., was accompanied by top dignitaries, including the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu; Governors Dapo Abiodun (Ogun), Hope Uzodimma (Imo), and Peter Mbah (Enugu); as well as the Minister of Works, Dave Umahi.

During the visit, Tinubu unveiled several landmark projects, including the New Government House, the first Governor’s Lodge built in 34 years, the refurbished House of Assembly complex, and the Solution Fun City—a recreational centre designed to boost tourism and community engagement.

At the commissioning of the New Government House, President Tinubu commended Soludo’s achievements, describing infrastructure as the foundation of meaningful development.

“Soludo is here providing solutions—solutions in infrastructure, in governance, and in inclusive development. This is what democracy is about—service, prosperity, and building institutions that work,” the President said.

He further praised the governor’s use of technology and innovation in governance, stating that Anambra is now on the path to future-driven growth.

“You are a good thinker and a true solution provider. With leaders like Governor Soludo, we can build Nigeria’s future and attract meaningful investment. This is the kind of governance we must support and encourage,” Tinubu added.

The visit marked a significant endorsement of Soludo’s leadership style and development agenda, as Anambra continues its journey towards becoming a modern, responsive, and investment-ready state.
