Three Arrested for Disrupting Air Peace London-Lagos Flight

Three passengers, Adedigba Adewale, Ashibogu Magnus, and Iwonze Benjamin, were arrested on Wednesday at Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, after causing a disturbance on an Air Peace flight from London to Lagos.

Trouble began when Adewale and Magnus, despite holding economy tickets, attempted to sit in business class.

When the cabin crew intervened, they refused to comply and forcefully entered the section.

Their actions escalated as they made threats and openly consumed alcohol they had brought on board without permission, creating tension among other passengers.

The flight crew alerted Nigerian security agencies before landing. Upon arrival, law enforcement officers arrested the individuals for further investigation.

Air Peace assured passengers that safety remains a top priority and warned against disruptive behavior. The airline also praised its crew for managing the situation professionally.

Efforts to contact the Director of Aviation Security, Igbafe Afegbai, for comments were unsuccessful.
