Primary is over, together we shall march to victory, Jegede to PDP faithful

Eyitayo Jegede, the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ondo State, on Friday, declared his readiness to work with every member of the PDP regardless of who they supported in the last concluded primary, adding, however, that the primary is over and PDP is now one.

In a statement by Samuel Fasua, Head, Media Research, Eyitayo Jegede Campaign Organisation, Mr Jegede called for unity among members during an interactive section with the party stakeholders at the PDP Secretariat at Alagbaka, Ondo State Capital.

Starnews reports that the PDP candidate said: ”the primary is over, and whatever happened before and during the process of the election is over.

“Regardless of where individuals worked and the different aspirants we all supported, the PDP is now one.

“Let’s go back home where the work is, to bring out the votes, the structure that will represent the yearnings and aspirations of members of the party to get the job done up to the unit level will be announced in the next few days.

”Once you get back home, open your doors and accommodate all those who genuinely show interest, irrespective of their political parties.”

”As you must have noticed with the coming on board of Accord Party, many are still on their way; they will meet us in peace and together we shall march on to victory.”
