Tension in Ondo as thugs disrupt voting, snatch ballot box

Pandemonium erupted in Idanre, Ondo State, on Saturday as suspected political thugs unleashed terror on voters, firing gunshots and making away with a ballot box during the ongoing election.

In a video obtained by Starnews NG, a concerned resident was seen alerting security agents stationed at an unidentified polling unit about the presence of armed men loitering around the voting area.

The thugs reportedly fired multiple gunshots, forcing voters to flee for safety. Amid the chaos, they seized the ballot box and sped off on a motorcycle, leaving the polling unit in disarray.
