Breaking: Panic in Eagles camp as Kalu suffers heart attack
Super Eagles winger, Samuel Kalu on Friday suffered a heart attack according to reports coming from Egypt. A post on Twitter not on the team’s handle revealed that the Nigerian forward collapsed while trying to take a corner kick in training. He was immediately stabilized by the team’s medical staff before taken to hospital for tests. The test revealed he was dehydrated and was consequently advised to take more fluids. Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has said that President Muhammadu Buhari will tommorow host the Super Eagles of Nigeria during the federal executive council meeting at Abuja. The statement read: “Solomon Dalung, minister of youth and sports, will present the country’s ambassadors to President Buhari, hours before they are due to fly to London aboard a chartered aircraft.” The team will play two more friendlies against the Czech Republic and England before the World Cup begins.
