The United Kingdom (UK) has released new travel requirements for people wishing to come to the country. The UK stated that Nigerians and other citizens wishing to enter the country must apply for Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA). British and Irish nationals are, however, exempted from the new requirements. The new rule comes into effect from November 15, 2023, and applies to everyone, including children. The new travel rule states that all visa applicants wishing to travel to the UK need an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) card before they enter or transit through the country. The Nigeria Senate will on Tuesday screen Dr. Olayemi Michael Cardoso for the position of the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN). The federal government under the leadership of President Bola Tinubu has approved the implementation of 35% And 25% salary increments for staff of all federal tertiary institutions.
