Reps Reject Motion Seeking Members To Pay WAEC, NECO, JAMB Fees Of Constituents
The House of Representatives, on Wednesday, rejected a motion urging members to adopt at least one public school in their localities for the purpose of paying registration fees for students sitting for the West African Examination Council, National Examination Council and Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board examinations in public schools. NECO Releases 2019 June/July SSCE Results
The National Examination Council (NECO) has released the results of the Senior School Certificate Examination for June/July 2019. A breakdown of the results released on Tuesday shows that 829,787 candidates representing 71.59℅ made five credits and above, including English Language and Mathematics. The number of candidates who made five credits and above, irrespective of English Language and Mathematics is 1,041,986 representing 89.90℅, which shows a drop by 0.57%. According to the council, 1,163,194 candidates registered but 1,151,016 candidates, including 146 blind candidates sat for the exam.
