The Federal Capital Territory chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, on Saturday, endorsed former Senate President, Bukola Saraki, as its preferred presidential candidate for the 2023 elections. Saraki’s adoption came on the heels of similar endorsements by the Benue, Nasarawa and Niger states chapters within the last seven days. Shortly before the announcement, party leaders from the FCT observed that the PDP needs a candidate from the North Central to win the 2023 Presidency.
