The Sokoto State Government has approved a new and improved salary structure for judges in the state, aimed at boosting efficiency in the judiciary.
Governor Aliyu Ahmed announced the development in a statement shared on his official X (formerly Twitter) handle, emphasising the administration’s commitment to strengthening the judicial system.
“We are fully committed to enhancing service delivery within the judicial system of our beloved state,” Ahmed said.
He underscored the critical role of a robust judiciary in promoting societal stability, noting that justice dispensation remains a key priority for his administration.
The governor explained that the salary increase is part of broader efforts to equip the judiciary to uphold law and order effectively.
“A high-quality justice system is essential for a stable and effective society,” Ahmed added.
He further reaffirmed his administration’s determination to maintain law and order across Sokoto State.
