Senate Threatens To Issue Arrest Warrant Against NIMASA Boss Peterside

The Senate joint committee on Navy, Maritime and Finance has threatened to issue a warrant of arrest on the DG NIMASA Dakuku Peterside.

During plenary on Wednesday, the Committee said the reason it might issue an arrest warrant is due to the alleged failure of Mr. Peterside to appear before the panel.

The joint committee is issued this threat during the second day of its investigative hearing into the activities of a private security firm Ocean Marine Services Limited OMSL and some security agencies over the alleged collection of illegal fees for securing vessels vat the safe anchorage area.
