The veteran of Yoruba cinema, Saheed Balogun, has shattered the hush surrounding the recent viral video depicting him seated in a wheelchair.

An Islamic cleric sent shockwaves through fans by sharing a TikTok video portraying Saheed Balogun in a disabled state, exuding an air of dejection and weariness with life.

The cleric, in the video, earnestly implored God to bestow a swift recovery upon Saheed, urging his followers to unite in prayer for the actor.

However, in a recent video captured on the movie star’s Instagram page, Saheed Balogun clarified that the viral wheelchair scene was merely a segment from a movie they had collectively filmed for the esteemed Yoruba cinema veteran, Kola Olaiya.

The 56-year-old actor emphatically demonstrated his vitality by lifting his legs and even performing a small jump to dispel any doubts about his well-being. Saheed went on to caution against the spread of unfounded rumors on social media .

The movie star extended his heartfelt gratitude to his cherished fans, acknowledging their genuine concerns, numerous calls, fervent prayers, and the deluge of messages that inundated him.

With a final touch of inspiration, he concluded the clip with a powerful prayer, invoking total success in all endeavors for himself and everyone.
