President Tinubu Set to Inaugurate Key Projects in Enugu on First Official Visit

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will visit Enugu State on Saturday, January 4, 2025, for his first official trip to the state, where he will commission several landmark projects completed by Governor Peter Mbah’s administration.

According to NAN, Chidiebere Onyia, the Secretary to the State Government, announced the visit in a statement released on Friday.

During his visit, President Tinubu will inaugurate 30 Enugu Smart Green Schools, part of a wider initiative to construct 260 such schools across the state. Additionally, 60 fully equipped Type 2 Primary Healthcare Centres, designed to serve the state’s 260 wards, will be officially launched.

Other key projects to be inaugurated include the Enugu International Conference Centre, 90 urban roads in Enugu City, a new Command and Control Centre, and 150 patrol vehicles equipped with AI-powered surveillance technology.

The president will also inaugurate several rural road projects during the one-day visit.
