President Tinubu Reaches Out to Anthony Joshua After Tragic Accident

On Monday evening, President Bola Tinubu shared on his X account that he had spoken with world-renowned boxer Anthony Joshua in the wake of a tragic accident that claimed the lives of Joshua’s close associates, Kevin Latif Ayodele and Sina Ghami.

In his post, President Tinubu expressed his condolences, stating, “I have spoken with AJ to personally convey my condolences over the passing of his two close associates, Kevin Latif Ayodele and Sina Ghami in the recent accident. I wished him a full and speedy recovery, and prayed with him. AJ assured me he is receiving the best possible care.”

The President further noted that he also reached out to Joshua’s mother, sharing, “I also spoke with his mother and prayed for her. She was deeply appreciative of the call.”

Governor Dapo Abiodun, who was at the hospital with Joshua, assured the President that he would ensure Joshua receives the best attention: “Governor Dapo Abiodun, who was at the hospital with them, assured me he will do everything possible to ensure AJ receives the best attention.”

Concluding his message, President Tinubu prayed for the families affected by the tragedy, stating, “May God strengthen the families and grant repose to the souls of the departed.”
