Controversial Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has been hospitalised after his return from a recent trip to the United Kingdom.
This was announced on the singer’s Instagram page on Wednesday, just a day after a week-long tour to the UK.
Portable pleaded for fans’ prayers in a series of posts on his Instagram story.
The ‘Zazzu Zeh’ crooner who did not offer specific details about his sickness, however, stated that he would not die young.
Nigerian singer Iyanya and Portable’s former manager and promoter Kogbagidi were the first set of people to reach out to the singer and wish him well.
Portable attended the 2023 British Fashion Awards in the UK at the Royal Albert Hall, London, on Monday.
At the London Awards show, the Zazuu crooner was in the company of British-Nigerian Grime rapper Joseph Adenuga Jr., also known as Skepta, at the event.
The street artiste also met Tiwa Savage whom he referred to as his ‘godmother’ while showering her with praises and prayers.
His appearance at the British Fashion Awards generated a lot of buzz on social media, with many fans praising his confidence and individuality.
