Police Warns Against Illegal Manufacturing, Use Of Security Uniforms

The Public Relations Officer of the Nigeria Police Force. ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi has issued a warning against the illegal manufacture, storage, sale, and use of police and other security agency uniforms and kits.

The FPRO stated this in a tweet on his X account on Tuesday.

Adejobi noted that the misuse of these items can lead to “pains and sorrow” for citizens and contribute to a weaker security situation.

He also highlighted the need for movie producers and the entertainment industry to seek official approval before using police uniforms in their productions.

He wrote, “We need to repeat it again and again that manufacturing, storage, sales, and usage of police and security agencies’ uniforms, kits, and accoutrements are illegal and punishable under the law. Stop it today.
