Police Inspector Hangs Self In Adamawa Over ‘Financial Difficulties’

A police inspector, Dasu Kassa, has died in Adamawa State.

According to reports, Kassa was found deceased at his residence in Anguwan Yungur, Girei Local Government Area, on Monday evening.

He had reportedly returned from a hospital in Yola, the state capital, earlier that evening. The circumstances surrounding his death are currently being investigated.

The circumstances surrounding the death of the police inspector are currently being investigated. While no note was left behind, family sources indicate that financial difficulties and medical expenses may have contributed to his decision.

The Adamawa State Police Command has confirmed the incident, with spokesperson SP Suleiman Nguroje verifying the details to SaharaReporters.

He said, “Actually the police inspector was found dead.

“The Command is investigating the matter with a view to finding out the circumstances that led to the dead.”
