Photo: Church members kiss one another in church upon pastor’s order

  • He reportedly ordered them to take their neighbours home after kissing

The pastor of Hope Restoration Ministry has ordered his church members to kiss one another during service.

In a photo that went viral on social media with much traction, the church members, as they have been taught, obeyed the pastor and each was captured kissing another person.

The pastor reportedly ordered them to “take their neighbours home after the kissing saga”

It is unclear why the pastor made that order, and which scriptural basis he had for doing so. It was not also clear if the program was a couple’s program or not.

It was not also clear as at press time whether the pastor’s wife was in service as participant during the said programme.

Meanwhile, YEN online news reported that it is not the first time such a weird thing is being done at a place called church.

In a report by YEN, one pastor ordered his church members to pray in the name of a goat rather than Jesus Christ.

In yet another report, another pastor asked his church members to chew grass, while he himself refrained from chewing.

According to YEN online news, Hope Restoration Ministry is said to be one of the biggest churches in South Africa with a large following.
