PDP, Ihedioha, consider 8 grounds to return to office in Imo State

It is no longer news that in line with last week’s decision of the Supreme Court which sacked governor Emeka Ihedioha of the People’Democratic Party(PDP), on January 14, 2020, Senator Hope Uzodinma was declared the governor of Imo State.

Starnews NG reports that the Supreme Court declared as illegal, the exclusion of certain votes during the collation of votes at the last governorship election in Imo state, and went ahead to add the said votes to declare Uzodinma of the All Progressive Congress (APC) as the new governor of the state.

Meanwhile, reactions have continued to trail the judgment of the supreme court with many Nigerians calling for its reversal on the ground that the judgment contained a lot of alleged errors.

Presently, Starnews NG learnt that former governor Ihedioha and his party (PDP), are considering returning to the Supreme Court on 8 grounds to seek correction and reversal of the said judgment.

The grounds for consideration went viral on social media on Saturday upon which Ihedioha & the PDP might apply for a review of the judgment to return to office as the elected Governor and ruling party in Imo State.
