Osinbajo arrives Ondo, stops convoy to rescue accident victims on airport road 

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo on Monday stopped his convoy to lend assistance and rescued victims of a road traffic accident with presidential ambulance along the airport road on Monday morning in Abuja.

Starnews Nigeria reports that Mr Osinbajo’s Media Aide tweeted that the VP while heading to the airport to visit Owo, (Ondo State this morning) where worshippers were heinously attacked yesterday resulting in many casualties, stopped his convoy on his way to the airport to rescue accident victims.

According to him, the VP is to deliver president Buhari’s condolences and message in person.

“On his way to the airport this morning, VP came across a road traffic accident, stopped to lend assistance, & ensured victim was taken to the hospital with VP’s convoy ambulance. He then proceeded on his trip and is now in Ondo State heading to site of yesterday’s attack in Owo”, the tweet reads
