Senator Shehu Sani has commented on the recent incident involving the U.S. Presidential Aircraft, Air Force One, which reportedly developed electrical faults shortly after departing for Switzerland on Tuesday evening.
Starnews NG reported yesterday that the aircraft returned to Joint Base due to these electrical issues, prompting U.S. President Donald Trump to board another aircraft, an Air Force C-32—a modified Boeing 757 typically used for domestic flights to smaller airports—as he continued on to the World Economic Forum in Davos shortly after midnight.
In his reaction to the incident, Shehu Sani, a former senator representing the Kaduna Central Senatorial District in the 8th National Assembly, took to Twitter on Thursday to express his views. He stated, “If the US Presidential Aircraft worth billions of dollars can have ‘electrical issues,’ you can see the weakness of the most advanced technology. This is a living testimony that nothing guarantees our lives and safety other than The Almighty.”
Sani’s comments reflect a broader sentiment regarding the unpredictability of even the most advanced technological systems and the importance of faith in ensuring safety and security.
