Ondo Varsity acknowledges Senator Tofowomo giant strides

 

The management team of Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology (OAUSTECH) has acknowledged the giant stride of the Senator representing Ondo South at the National Assembly, Senator Nicholas Tofowomo.

The team led by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Sunday Ogunduyile acknowledged the giant strides of the Senator on Tuesday during a courtesy visit to the Lawmaker at Ileoluji, the headquarters of Ileoluji – Okeigbo Local Government Area of Ondo State.

According to a statement signed by the head of Advancement Officer of the University, Mrs Dolapo Olatubora Oluwaseyi, the University needs the help of patriotic sons and daughters of the soil, friends, and other well-wishers in attaining a 21st-century status.

Starnews Nigeria reports that this was part of the issues discussed extensively with the Senator at the meeting.

The distinguished Senator appreciated the management for the courtesy visit and the acknowledgement of his positive impacts at the floor of the Senate by the University Management.

He promised to include some of the dire needs of the University as presented by the Vice-Chancellor in his bills by 2022. This was received with a lot of gladness by the university team.

“The University is grateful for this optimistic move. We wish the Senator well in all his endeavours,” the statement partly reads.
