Ondo Rep, Ikengboju Gboluga, greets Muslim, preaches tolerance on Eid-el-Fitri

The Federal House of Representatives member, representing Okitipupa/Irele Federal Constituency in Ondo State, Hon. Ikengboju Gboluga has congratulated the Muslim faithful in his constituency over the successful completion of their annual fasting session and the celebration of Eid-el-Fitri.

Gboluga, in a statement released in Abuja on Saturday, encouraged the Muslims to continue in the obedience of God’s dictates in their daily endeavours, and beyond the fasting period.

The lawmaker also expressed concern over the rising spate of kidnapping cases in Ondo state in recent times, while calling on the state government to do the needful in tackling insecurity.

He, however, urged the Ikale nation to see themselves as a single entity in the unity of purpose and learn to tolerate one another despite their political and religious differences.

He asked Muslim faithful to replicate the life of kindness, love, tolerance, peace and good neighbourliness as exemplified by the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW).

Gboluga also advised the people of his constituency to take responsibility against the spread of the COVID-19 infection by observing personal hygiene and obey the the instructions given by relevant health authorities in Nigeria.
