Ondo Poll: Ore City turns Orange as ZLP flag-off campaign

  • Arrival of Ajayi, Mimiko cause gridlock for several hours

Ore City, the headquarters of Odigbo Local Government Area of Ondo State, was transformed to Orange colour on Saturday as supporters of the Zenith Labour Party (ZLP) trooped out in their numbers to attend the flag-off for the governorship campaign of the party in the state.

Starnews Nigeria reports that Agboola Ajayi, Ondo State deputy governor and the candidate of the ZLP, alongside the deputy candidate of the party, Gboye Adegbenro, today at the government field in Ore, Ondo State, flagged-off their governorship campaign ahead of the October 10, governorship election in Ondo State.

Starnews Nigeria gathered that the arrival of Ajayi and Dr Olusegun Mimiko, the National Leader of the ZLP at the town, resulted to the continuous queues of vehicles at the broad street, Okitipupa/Ore expressway, blocking the entire network of intersecting streets, bringing traffic in all directions to a complete standstill.
