Ondo PDP elders’ council releases resolution ahead of primary

The Ondo State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) elders’ council has released its resolution of a meeting with all the Gubernatorial Aspirants of the party at the State Secretariat, in Akure on Sunday.

In a copy of resolution obtained by Starnews NG and signed by Mike Adara, the Secretary of the council, the resolutions are as follow:

a. The leaders appreciated the commitment and unity of purpose among the Aspirants and urged them to sustain the tempo before, during and after the elections.

b. The leadership of the Party in Ondo State appreciates the commitments and supervision of the Party’s NWC and the fairness of HE. Ibrahim Hassan Dankwabo led 3man Ad-hoc delegates Appeal Committee’s intervention and their ability to resolve the Ad-hoc delegates lists.

c. Appealed to all the Aspirants to harmonize their interests and work together for the collective interests of the party.

d. That the Aspirants should abide with the final results and delegate lists as approved by the Ward Congress Ad-hoc Appeal Panel led by Alh. Dankwambo.

e. Party members who are not delegates to the coming State Gubernatorial Primary election slated for Wednesday 22nd July 2020 are enjoined to stay off the Congress venue and accreditation centres in order to comply with the social distancing orders and guide against the spread of COVID-19 pandemic in the State.
