Ondo LG Poll: Obayangban Hails Peaceful, Credible Process

Special Assistant to the Ondo State Governor on Forestry for Ondo South, Hon. Bidemi Obayangban, popularly known as O.C. General, has commended the smooth conduct of the local government elections held across the state on Saturday.

Reports from various polling units indicate a peaceful atmosphere as voters exercised their civic duty without significant disruptions.

Obayangban praised the election process as a demonstration of the state’s commitment to democratic principles and the rule of law. His remarks underscore the dedication of the state government, under the leadership of Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, to ensure a seamless and credible electoral exercise.

As the results from the 18 local government areas are being awaited, Obayangban extended his congratulations to Andrew Ogunsakin, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate in Okitipupa Local Government, for his performance in the polls. He also congratulated other APC candidates across the 18 local government areas for their efforts and anticipated victories.
