Ondo 2024: Seven aspirants purchase APC’s N50m forms

 

After the All Progressives Congress (APC), released its timetable and schedule of activities for the November 16, 2024, gubernatorial election in Ondo State, seven aspirants of the party have purchased the expression of interest and nomination forms, Starnews Ng reports.

Recall that Starnews NG reported that the forms for the governorship election was pegged at N50 million by the APC.

Female aspirants and persons living with disabilities will pay for Expressions of Interest, while the Nomination Form is free.

However, seven aspirants have picked the form. The first aspirants to pick the forms is: Dr Funmilayo Waheed, while Chief Olusola Oke, Jimi Odimayo, Jimoh Ibrahim, Wale Akinterinwa, Dr. Soji Ehinlanwo and Lucky Aiyedatiwa subsequently purchased theirs.

Though more aspirants are likely to join this week in purchasing the said forms.

The Primary elections to pick the party’s flag bearer is slated for April 25, 2024.
