In the buildup to the November 16 gubernatorial election in Ondo state, the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Agboola Ajayi, has named his running mate.
This was confirmed in a statement by the Ondo State, PDP Publicity Secretary, Ikandu Peretei on Sunday.
According to the statement, Agboola named member representing Idanre/Ifedore Federal Constituency, Hon Festus Akingbaso as deputy governorship candidate in Ondo 2024 governorship election.
The lawmaker was a former Ondo State House of Assembly member, who hails from Idanre.
