Ondo 2024: PDP BOT Member, Akinsiku hails emergence of Agboola Ajayi

A member of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Board of Trustees, Afolabi Akinsiku, has hailed the emergence of the party’s gubernatorial candidate in Ondo State, Agboola Ajayi.

Akinsiku expressed euphoria over the victory of Ajayi in a statement issued on Sunday and obtained by our Correspondent.

It reads, “As the Member, Board of Trustees of our party, the People’s Democratic Party, I, Hon. Barr Afolabi Akinsiku hereby congratulate H E Agboola Ajayi for his victory in the just concluded adjudged freest and fairest governorship primary election in Ondo State. I tagged it to be a victory for the good people of the party and Ondo State at large.

“H E Agboola Ajayi who emerged winner among other six contestants pulled the highest number of votes.

“This is the time the party leaders, stalwarts and members in the State must work together for the betterment of Ondo State.

“I also congratulate him as he had been issued certificate of return as the standard bearer of our party. This will mark the beginning of a new era as I hope and pray that PDP will cruise to victory come November 16, 2024, Governorship election in Ondo State.

“Ondo State people are dissatified with the bad governance, impoverishment policies and economic comatose in the State which the ruling party APC had subjected the State into, especially in the last seven years.

“This is the time to reclaim our mandate and bring succour back to the people of the Sunshine State.

“I hereby appeal to the known leaders from the national level to the wards and units to shun all tendencies that may draw the hands of the party’s genuine reconciliation backward rather admonished them to embrace the unity of purpose as entrenched in the constitution of the party.
