Oluwo recounts alleged assassination attempt involving trailer

The Oluwo of Iwo, Oba AbdulRasheed Akanbi, has claimed that a trailer believed to have been sent to kill him ended up crashing and becoming badly damaged after impact.

As reported by PUNCH, the Osun State monarch made this disclosure in a video that has since gone viral on Tuesday, describing the incident as a divine act of protection.

Although he did not provide specific details or the exact location of the incident, Oba Akanbi said the trailer struck him but was miraculously pulled down, attributing the act to the intervention of angels.

“A trailer that was sent to kill us hit us and fell flat, completely dented. It was dragged away by the angels of God,” the monarch said, encouraging people to hold unwavering faith in God. “Unless you don’t choose God, never doubt His power.”

Further details surrounding the incident were not disclosed as of the time of filing this report.
